Resources
As part of our research and engagement with organizations and communities, we develop various resources to inspire social change and support social innovation projects. Beyond the Design Thinking Roundtable and our publications, we developed some practical resources such as the Critical Companion to Co-creation and the Bindi Guide.

Are you co-creating?
A critical companion to
more inclusive collaboration
This critical companion document challenges the hidden assumptions in popular co-creation methods. Unlike traditional toolkits that provide step-by-step instructions, it acts as a critical lens, helping facilitators recognize power dynamics, cultural differences, and knowledge hierarchies that standard approaches often ignore. You can download the guide here or engage with its open source version (that includes translations in Portuguese, Spanish, French and Arabic and resources developed by other social innovators and designers) here (add link when the website is finished).
The Bindi Guide
The Bindi Guide aims to help NGOs and grassroots groups co-create self-sustaining programs to empower low-income women. It provides them with a step-by-step process on how to design and facilitate such programs using a human-centered design and train-the-trainer approach.
It was developed by Anne-Laure Fayard and students from DFA NYU in 2014-2016 in collaboration with Women for Human Rights (a non-for-profit based in Nepal) and women from Tripureshwar and Wishwas (a non-for-profit based in Queens, NY) and some of their members. The project started as a winning idea on the OpenIDEO platform and was supported by funding from UKAID.
